Black Seed: Cure for many ailments

A Healing Medicine From Prophecies The black seed (also known as ‘Kalonji’) was purported to be a cure for all ailments apart from death in the words of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This supplement should be consumed in the form of seed and oil to enhance your bodily function.

Black seed is well known for its nutritional richness in fatty acids, proteins, trace minerals and vitamins. Important minerals like calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, potassium and vitamin C are also found in it.

Olives & Olive Oil:  A Blessed Fruit

The Cures of the Sacred Olives and olive oil are best known as the food for the rich and noble. These sacred items are preserved for religious use owing to their high antioxidant and healthy fat content, which improves heart and inflammation. Messenger of Allah (SAW) also emphasised the benefits of olives and its oil when he said; “Season (your food) with olive oil and anoint yourselves with it, for it comes from a blessed tree.” [Ibn Majah]

Sureed: Meat Stew (Shorba)

As said to be one of the beloved dishes of the Prophet (PBUH), Sureed is composed of meat and some times with vegetables. The Prophet (PBUH) certainly had a taste for Sureed since it catered as a superb example of a comfort dish as it provided solid and liquid nutrition. The blend of great taste and complete nutrition exemplifies the Prophetic diet’s simplicity. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is famously known to have advised people to consume Sureed because of its healing properties, thus making it a Sunnah food with special significance in Islam.

Milk: Sacred Drink of Life

A Drink Full Of Benefits In order to improve one’s overall health and increase bone density, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) recommended sustenance gained from milk. High in calcium and protein, milk encompasses a myriad of nutritional advantages.

Talbina: A Healthy Diet

The Prophet honored Talbina for soothing the heart and diminishing sadness. He noted, “Talbeena eases the heart of a sick person and alleviates some grief,” in a hadith illustrating its importance as food which takes care of both the body and the soul. It is a food which is loved and said to be helpful, and thus a part of the Prophetic diet, to be cherished.

Talbeena is an example of the modest and restorative nature of the food prescribed in the Sunnah, and remains to be a source of comfort and nutrition.

Zamzam water:  Divine Gift of Hydration

Greatly advocates this point too when discussed in the context of the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH). There is a wonderful correlation between faith and health in Islam, and the use of Prophetic medicine teaches us just that.
